All Data Disappeared

I have had my laptop with Hoster 2.219 already loaded for about 1 week. I have downloaded CDG's to KMA and have done approximately 300 disc. This AM when I downloaded my 1st disc I didn't notice that it started with disc 1. What happened to the other 300? How can I get them back or find them? Thanks

Re: All Data Disappeared

Open the import page and see if the SAVE TO FOLDER reads:

C:\Program Files\Micro Technology Unlimited\Hoster\Songs\

That's the default folder for saving the imported files. If it reads differently, then you may have put them someplace else, and that should tell you where you put them.

Re: All Data Disappeared

My Import page shows Program Files\Microtech Unlimited\Hoster and that is it. I can't change it. My real delimma is I can import all the songs again; however, the 300 discs have to be some where taking up space on my harddrive. I have a total of about 13000 songs to download and can't afford the lost space. Could I have started a new default program. If so where is the other? Thanks

Re: All Data Disappeared

Do a search for one of your kma files, like SC7501-1.kma or some other CDG you have imported.

Re: All Data Disappeared

I seem to have solved my problem with your help and the help of my son who seems to be a computer whiz. I was impatient and didn't let my database rebuild completely. Also, found I could get into def001.hst and def002.hst (don't ask me how) I still have a lot of reading to do on the manual before I will be able to take my laptop to do a karaoke show with confidence. thanks to all
