Question Singers display window

I installed 2.219 today. Everything else works fine. I had the singers display window working. I moved it to the singers display and loaded three songs and it showed them all. I moved the pointer to the singers display to move the window a little, and it disapeared. I can't find it. I have restarted the program and windows and it is sill gone. Anyone know what might have happened to it.

Re: Singers display window

Same exact thing happened to me. It shows that the singers name display is enabled and all the settings are correct but the singers name display window has disappeared.

I even reinstalled 2.219 hoping it would restore it but this window is nowhere to be found.

It happened when I was resizing the window. I did notice that it exited to the right and turned a lighter color then disappeared.

I have ben trying to get the display to show onto the TV and have followed the instructions in the manual and in another thread I started on the singers name display. I followed them exactly and I could never get it to show up on anything but my monitor, and never together as shown in the manual.

I thought I was fairly frustrated until the singers name display went away never to be found again. Now I'm really frustrated.

Re: Singers display window

Mine also went to the right side of the screen and not to be seen again. I have tryed everything and I can't find it. May have to call gost busters to find it again. At least the program still works good. I hope someone has the answer.

Re: Singers display window

Why don't you guys try going into TOOLS, then click SINGER'S NAME DISPLAY, then in the pop up, uncheck ENABLE SINGER'S NAME WINDOW.

Exit the program, go back in and double click the SND button.

See if that will bring the window back from wherever it went to.

Flipper, on the other thread, they meant the remote t.v.(off to the right) not the kj prevue window.

Re: Singers display window

George

Thank you for the reply on the TV location. I have been calling this the Singers Display Window (that is what it is called in the manual) so I was getting kinda confused.

Just wanted to make sure that I was working with the correct window, and I have been. I can't seem to replicate what others posting on this thread have had success with. I will keep trying.

Smile Re: Singers display window

okay....I got it back....here's what I did....

when into the control panel and under display. Showed the two displays....on my second display it had a thing about extend my desktop to this disply...that box is usually checked to get the words to come up on it. Well I unchecked that box. Restarted hoster, and the screen came back up. I then went back into the display controls on control panel and enabled the desktop to go onto that screen and it came back up.
