Unhappy Converting CDG to MP3 (no lyrics) HELP

Can anybody advise me on how to convert my cdg files to MP3 files so that I can practise in my car. (How sad am I)
I am sure that it must be possible, but unfortunately, I can only see how to save to CD and not back to the hard drive.

Sounds like you got your answer from djmadmaxx. If you need clarification or if maybe your particular situation wasn't addressed, some possibilities come to my mind, then let us know. Good luck.

Re: Converting CDG to MP3 (no lyrics) HELP

Sorry, I didn't explain properly, I have all my cdg's on my hard drive, 120Gb of them, and it is these that I would like to convert, and then copy them to my mp3 player. Would Music Match allow this, do you know?

Thanks

no, you would have to use the actual discs. you can't convert your hoster KMA files to mp3's. You should have the discs since you have them on your hard-drive.

Re: Converting CDG to MP3 (no lyrics) HELP

There are "discless" ways to handle your problem, but they are time consuming and problematic as they involve real-time recording. I have wished that Keyrite could convert cdg to wave, (wave to mp3 is a snap) but so far, nothing.
