Problem Uploading Mp4

Purchased Karoake songs from a website, downloaded in MP4 format, uploaded into Hoster and they worked fine. My computer crashed 2 days ago had to redownload Hoster, everything is fine except the Purchased MP4's are showing extended time. For example: 1 song is 3min long but when added to playlists it shows as 11 min. I have redownloaded songs, tried several different ways to download them and it continues with extended time. Again, they worked for months and only since the redownloading of Hoster I am having this problem. Using 5.06 version and Windows 7 64bit. I originally tried 5.08 had too many problems and had to revert back to 5.06. Please help and advise...Thank you Tony

Do you have the k-lite codec pac installed ?

Hi Roy, we installed before the HD crash and had nothing but problems and it did not help the issue. Is there anyway around it without the codec? Prior to our issue, we did not have this problem. Any assistance would be helpful. Thanks

To be honest I'm surprised they play at all if you don't have the codec pack installed.

When you say they played OK before, was that using version 5.06 ?

I know there was a version were a similar point was reported but can't remember which version.

If they actually play OK and you don't want to install the codec pac might just have to put up with the time being wrong.

Hi Roy, as of now we did upload the codec. But, it is still not working. Still at 11min. Not sure of the version either. Very frustrating.

You can tell what the version # is from the Help menu/ about Hoster.

What was wrong with 5.08 version ?
