Hoster 4.20 Locks Up

Hey all,
I have a Sony Vaio 2.26 processor 4 g. ram new 500 gb hard drive fresh install of Xp pro had Vista all updates installed .. During a show last night it locked my computer couldn't end progarm with cnt/alt del had to hold the power button to shut down. check task manger process showed 30 and CP usage at 1-2% while playing songs today.. No anti viruson this system and Hoster is the only thing installed on this computer.. also have a Nvidia 9600m gt video card.. And help will be much appericated .. its seem to be ok today I did a system restore as well..

SInce this is a laptop if it is over a year old it could be that it has gotten dusty enough to raise the temperature inside to the point that the power supply will not be able to produce correct voltages which can cause the computer to lock-up.
Best way to get it fixed is clean it or have it cleaned, then get a cooling pad for underneath it.
Another possiblity is with the video. Your video card on this system uses shared memory, so the more processes running, the less memory is available for it to share. Only thing you can do for that is to turn off any processes not needed. Go to http://www.blackviper.com/ and he has many processes listed that can be turned off with no adverse effects.

I thought about over heating but its been running for about 3 hours now.. so far so good.. It locked open after opening hoster after being shut down all night .. I did a system restore so far so good.. I'll keep it running and see..
