Second Display Cloned HELP!

Just downloaded 4.06 trying to get second display working properly.
At bootup I have a clone of my desktop, karaoke screen comes up but, I also have full screen on the pc.

All my others, all I did was double click the floating display and it extended to the kj monitor. I need to be able to work in the background without my pc screen covered with the kj. Been jumping through the hoops, no avail. Thanks ahead of time. This is a HP with Vista home premium
