The Marquee is an integral part of the Hoster program. There is no way to limit any one part of the program for use?
Are you having a problem with someone putting information in the Marquee that you don't want them to put on it?

Yes I am trying to use as promotion for my business and any the club we are working at would like. I have heard one of my DJ's uses it for self promotion in not so professional ways. Have not been able to catch him just heard from other people. He has limited account just thought I could lock him out or lock existing text in marquee somehow. Thanks for help will have to try to handle in different manner. Maybe it could be added in future, would be bad if someone was paying for promotional services and it was changed without our knowledge.
Thanks Again BIG DADDY

If it was my employee I would warn him once and if I hear it again from the patrons....fire him and get someone else to replace him.

marquee text input

How do I enter text in the rolling marquee. If I try typing in the box that has the check marks next to it it just turns blue and nothing can be entered.

I am assuming you have updated to 4.09. This looks like it is broke in this version. If you have 4.08 I would back up to that version until 4.09 is released again. The only way I could change the entries was to go into the registry and modify the entries there. I will report this to MTU in the morning. Should be an easy fix.

New release file (same name) has been posted to fix this. Download and install again.

4.09c Marquee settings, unable to change messages

I downloaded 4.09c on Wednesday and I too have the same issue. Does this post state that a new update was released after 6/10/2009 that fixes the issue??? Because I still have the issue with the marquee not allowing changing of messages, only allows check/uncheck of messages already in list.

Yes there was another release on Jun 10th and that was to fix the Marquees problem. You need to download again and re-install. If you still have the issue then you may need to remove and re-install to get it to work.
