Search does not work 3.321 and 4.06

even after rebuilding the database, the search window opens but will not find any song, artist, bookid, etc. when I enter the bookid directly Hoster plays it fine. This occurs with 3.321 and 4.06. I have removed Hoster and reinstalled 3.321 and it is the same. Hope someone has a suggestion. This is one of my backup computers and this is not terribly important but I would like to fix it.

MSI motherboard
AMD FX6400
2 gb ram
500gb sata harddrive X2
Plextor 810sa

I hope you have the buttons pushed (green background) for BookID, Title, Artist, etc. and second row Karaoke button should be orange background.

Try entering just a * and see if it brings anything up. It should bring up the entire list.
Also, check to see if you have any other Songs.mdb and Songs_backup.mdb files on your C: Drive. There should only be one set and it should be in C:\MTU\Hoster.
