Re: Edit Songs not reponding
It can be slow opening I think its related to the size of your database, bigger it is the longer it takes.

Re: Edit Songs not reponding
How many songs do you Have? I have about 28,000 tracks and the edit dialog takes less than 10 seconds to open.
There is no easy way to remove duplicated songs in Hoster Database itself. They can be edited out somewhat from printing in the songbook. The only way I know to remove them from the Database is to use the edit dialog and choose multiples tab. Enter the * character in the search field which will list everything matching the filter buttons you have highlighted (example: Artist, Title & Karaoke) Once the list is populated right click on the Artist header column will sort the list in Artist Order, then Using the ctrl + left click highlight all the ones you want to delete for that Artist then press the delete button. Its a long and tedious process but I went through all mine this way over a period of time, (Although I only marked mine as Hide In Songbook) you dont have to do it all in one Go. Other than that search for some duplicate file naming software to delete the files completely but if you do it outside of Hoster you would have to rebuild your database again from scratch.

Re: Edit Songs not reponding
What you might want to check is Tools/Database, at the bottom of that dialog is a tick box for (Include Artist & Song Titles from Song Database) Untick that box should speed up the edit dialog opening.
