backup laptop

Ive been using Hoster for 2 years on a HP Laptop that has been great, but now Im looking to purchase a laptop to use as a backup in case something was to go wrong. I would like to keep the cost at a minimum. Can anyone recommend a good economical laptop for a backup that will work well with Hoster? Thanks for your help

Hey All,
Have made many a purchase from Ebay, from UK, USA, South America, Australia and Europe and with only two exceptions have always found everything OK.
One was a DAB radio the other a printer, the radio works but the CD player on it packed up about a week after I bought it, as I only paid $25 , not worth making a fuss about and I got a refund for the printer.
I have put together a whole computer using second hand parts from Ebay and the Shuttle I built had matched memory and CDG player from them.
Everything is still working fine.
I have also bought a laptop, which I sold on and it's still in good working order 18 months later.
Most people who sell on Ebay on a regular basis know the need for positive feedback and most descriptions are accurate with any faults usually mentioned.
Some are undoubtly sharks, thankfully they are not so many as the media makes out.
I certainly have no problems using an auction site especially if you are after a bargain.
Regards from across the pond.
Garry
