Can't reinstall Hoster Again
Hi Moderator, I just uninstalled Hoster from my Hoster Laptop and now I can't reinstall. I had this problem numerous times now and recently it was reset, now i just uninstalled and can't install again with the same problem, I have already installed on two computers. This is getting very annoying now since it has happened on various occasions. Everytime I have to come on the forum and give the same problem. Could you please fix this quick please, I have a gig tonight and really need to install again. Very displeased.

Okay Now
Mine is now fixed and Hoster installed perfectly. I just hope this doesn't happen again, but something tells me it will. I have had this problem so many times now. I'm afraid to uninstall before a gig. Must admit the response was quick though.

It is much safer if you don't do it right before you have a show, but as long as you post here, it will be fixed the fastest.

Aarrgee... what version of Hoster are you installing? Our latest is 3.120 and it has the security signifantly loosened up.
Our security has always allowed installing on the same computer IF... you don't make any significant upgrades. If you upgrade Windows 2000 up to XP and replace your hard drive at the same time, that's coming close to being a new computer. Re-installing or upgrading Windows ONLY will ALLOW reinstalling Hoster. MTU security will allow incrementally upgrading your computer and installing Hoster. It is only when you change LOTS of things in the computer at the same time... software and hardware... that our security will trigger and require our intervention. Again, Hoster 3.120 security has relaxed requirements. If you don't have it, get it. If you have Hoster 3.0xx, it is a free upgrade by clicking your download link. If you have Hoster 2.219 or prior, you need to buy the upgrade. |

Hoster 3.12
It's Hoster 3.12 the latest version. I have uninstalled twice and had this problem, and numerous times with previous versions.

admin,
im surprised that theres not a way to hone in on the CPU for the security. this way you would have to change the chip to not be able to re-install MTU software. this is your department, what are your thoughts ??? |
