Import problems

Hi,
I'm well on my way importing my discs into Hoster. Some of my discs are 'used' and taking a long time, particularly my Sound Choice Foundation discs, but in general all going ok. A couple of questions.
With most of my Sound Choice Spotlight etc. I am not able to import the last track, often track 15. Record quits part way through, I get the bad sector error message and Hoster shuts down. Many of these discs are in excellent condition.

With reference to Essential Karaoke discs, there doesn't seem to be a database for the discs I have above number 6, I presume I will need to enter those manually.

Any comments anyone? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Alan

The SC Spotlights you referenced are multi-session and have been a pain in the backside for a long time. Hoster 3.2 which is due out shortly will be able to import that last track. If you have 3.108 or 3.110 you can also use Microstudio to rip that final track and import it off you HD. Do a search on multi session or multisession and you should find lots of info on it.

When you eject the disk after it hangs on track 15, Hoster should not be crashing, I don't know why it would be doing it to you.

Keeping the database complete and up to date has also been a challenge. I know MTU is looking into better ways to deal with it but I don't know what they may be contemplating.
