Adding information To songs
Is there a way yo add information to songs once they are added to the DAtabase? While I am copying these CDs I don't want to go through and add things like Duets and Genre but later I know I would like to do a little at a time. I know you can mark songs and it makes a text file with the information about the song but do I need to put the CD back in to add that the song in a duet?
I guess if it is not at this time, maybe I should put this thread in the other forum to add that feature. It would be nice to be able to change the name of the song and any othere information without having to load the CD back in. I know changing Bohimian Rhapsody from Queen Latifa to Queen on just that song would be nicer then finding out what CD has that song putting it in the CDRom and re-record the track again. Is this not possable? Last edited by BigMike; January 21st, 2005 at 05:39 PM. Reason: Typo |

Re: Adding information To songs
Thanks, I'm at work now so I'm not at home loading CDs. I don't want to spend time troubleshooting that can be used loading CDs. You giuys are helping a lot. I really appreciate it.

Re: Adding information To songs
If I'm not mistaken using "edit songs" you can only do one song at a time whereas if you do it when you import you can do a whole disk at a time.

Re: Adding information To songs
Edit Song has two tabs: Select Single and Select Multiple.
Single allows changing Song and Artist names as well as Language, Genre, Multiplex, and Duet. Multiple does not allow Song and Artist names, but you can set Language, Genre, Multiplex, and Duet for all the selected tracks. You can use Shift and Ctrl to select groups of tracks or individual ones. ![]() |
