Unhappy Unable to create songlist

My MTU system is brand new. After loading my songs and compiling the database, I ran create a songlist from the TOOLS menu. Regardless of whether I check sort by first or last name, I get an error message. The message is HPRINT - "Printer error". I checked the .RFT files using Windows Explorer and they are empty. What do I do?

I do not have a printer connected to the computer. I just want the file. I have not changed ANY settings on Hoster. I just received my computer on Friday, so it is NEW.

Thanks
Gary

You need to have a Printer set up on this computer. This is the reason that you are getting this error.

The reason for this is the HPRINT.exe program pulls the formatting from the actual printer drivers.

To get around this, just setup a printer and it will work. You can do this by going to the Start Menu\Settings\Pirnters and faxes. Add New printer.

This will fix your problem.

Thanks Gary. Gary is correct. Install a Printer and it will then work. This is also the Songbook, not the Songlist (for others Referrence).
