stop and play button both greyed out

i did a private show last night, ( just in time to try my new Mackie SRM 350v speakers )and i had Hoster on auto mode, had a few on the playlist, the singer decided not to continue singing, since she couldn't follow the the lyrics while being hilighted, and i noticed that both the stop and the play button are greyed out, and i couldn't stop the song playing, i had to wait for the song to end.when the song ended i switched to man. mode, clicked on the next song, stop button turned red and play button turned green, i havent noticed this before, since i never had someone quit at the mid. of a song. i was just wondering if those buttons are supposed to be greyed out on auto. mode..

Re: stop and play button both greyed out

Not the case on mine. In auto mode after pressing play my stop button goes red and the play button Grey's out until I press the the stop button. I can stop any song in mid play.

Roy.

Re: stop and play button both greyed out

You are not alone.
I had the same problem in Hoster 4.2. I had it while I was just messing around the house and during a show last Saturday. Had show running in auto mode, couldn't stop the song or switch to manual till the song ended.
I am running on a gateway laptop with XP and have not had this problem until 4.2. HELP!!

Re: stop and play button both greyed out

Don't know why this is happening to you so no way to give you a fix. Either no one else is having this problem or haven't reported anything. Only fix I can offer is to close Hoster and re-open it again, but this is not really practical.
