4.02 Lockup after 3 hours

I used 4.02 for a gig last nite. Worked great for first 3 hours. Then locked up when song counted down to 0.00. crt+alt+del (I'm getting pretty good at that) (about 15 secs.) and I'm back up and running for the rest of the nite. Keep up the good work MTU and you'll get it! This IS the best program around.

Bob, what kind of file were you playing when it locked up?

Have you tried the file again to see if there is something wrong with the file? If it locks at that point again there may be a problem with the file itself. If that is the case then re-import it. If not then it may be a random thing. I don't think I have seen any version of Hoster or any other program for that matter that is totally gremlin free.

Ya I did try the file again and it worked fine. I agree it might be just a randon thing. I have a gig tonite, we'll see how that goes. I've gone thru 4.0 4.01 and 4.02 and had the same problem although it has gotten better with each version. This is the only problem I've had so I consider myself lucky compared to the problems I've seen from others in this forum. You guys(and you know who you are) deserve a lot of credit for all the help you provide. Thanks again!

Hey Bob,
I think what Dale wants to know is what type of KMA file was it that Hoster crashed on? Was it an HDCDG or an HDMP3G or an HDBIN file?

Jim

Add the file to the Playlist and you can see the TYPE in the TYPE column.
