Smile Hoster 4.01 One teeny issue

OK,
I am running 4.01 Lite on a new laptop, all updated, 4 GB RAM, 4.01 is working near perfect. I get a kick out of the insta buttons (Cheech and Chong's Officer Stadanko "This stuff can cause brain Damage")...Ok enough of the fun..here is my question:

On the lyrics diplay, I have it set to show next 3 singers and elapsed time. Really nice .....but I noticed as the first (or any song) plays, the time elapsed does not change (on singer's screen or Hoster screen). It just stays at a nominal value until the song ends.....here is the fun part. If I click anywhere in the Hoster window, the time magically updates and counts down to the next singer. So, if i keep on clicking in the Hoster GUI window it will countdown 3:21....3:20.....3:19...etc. until the song ends and it resets to the next time.

Alright, so I am don't beleive in magic....what setting am I missing, or is there a bug someone knows about?

I love this program...but have 3.4 just in case

The elapsed time in both the playlist and the singers display are not supposed to change until the start of the next song. The time that will countdown is the Duration column block for the song that is currently playing. The elapsed time is to help your singers "estimate" how long before they sing. To make those update constantly would more than likely interfere with the song currently playing, so it is determined from the time a song starts and stays on the screen until it is over and then gets recalulated for the next song.

Makes sense to me.....

Dale,
I know you have helped lots of folks out here. Thanks for setting me straight on that one. Another cool feature that I am learning to appreciate.

Cannot wait for next Friday, Neice wants me to do a show after their rehearsal dinner and they don't know I've gone digital....no more discs, no more searching through piles of them....totally cool software.

The folks at MTU have been very good to me as well..I bought Lite 3.321 and when 4.0 (4.01) came out, there was a registration issue (bug) with the 3.4 version (I use as backup). I wrote them and within a day, they sent me the 3.4 .exe direct and is working beautifully (as well as 4.01). I have not run into issues yet with 4.01 (except for inexperience with how the software really works!)
Thanks again Dale

Brain Damage

7 Years ago it was given to me by a friend who sent me an email about something we had done. We were flying down a hill in WV woods (Mountain bikes) and we came around a corner (left turning) and the river had washed the trail out. We both grabbed trees on our left side and the M bikes were still clipped to our feet ......a sight to behold. We managed to somehow NOT go down the steep bank theat the swollen river had eroded (river at the time was back at normal pool). That's the story of how I got it
