VCD & DVD Karaokein Extended Windows

Hi everbody,
I have set my extended windows up and it works fine with KMA files, my singers just see the karaoke track. However it does not work with VCD & DVD Karaoke tracks. How do I get my VCD & DVD Karaoke tracks to work within extended windows on my singers screen. At present when I play these tracks the extended windows screen (singers screen), is static as if I am not playing anything. Can anyone help.

Cheers

Christian

If you take the singers screen off "full screen" do you also get static with KMA's?

And please define "static". Noisy audio? Noisy picture?

VCD & DVD Karaoke Tracks In windows

Hello Mindonstrike,

Sorry I have probably used an incorrect word "static". Let me explain again, I have my dual card installed everthing works perfectly in extended windows, (singers screen), ONLY when I play KMA Files & MP3G Files. If I try to play VCD Karaoke or DVD Karaoke songs it will play on my computer screen but not on the singers screen in extended windows.

OK, simple fix which I think is covered in the manual

Anyhow:
Play a KMA file (using a video won't work for this part) and move your mouse to the TV and double click to bring the screen back to your computer.
Once it is playing on your computer grab the corners and stretch it to as full of a screen as you can get. Now grab it with your mouse and slide it back to the TV. Make any last minute stretching once it is there. Now double click the screen again, which will make your resized screen full screen.

Now when you play KMA's it will be full screen and when you play video's they will be on the resized screen.

Hope this helps
Sam

Thumbs up VCD & Videos in Extended Mode

Sam,

Fantastic I now have videos as well as KMA files running on my dsplay screen (singers Screen), only one thing Sam, I can view the Kma & MP3g's on the computer whilst playing the singers screen but I hav'nt yet been able to view the Videos on my computer whilist playing on the singers screen.

I suppose as the old saying goes, if all else fails read the manual.

Cheers

Similar Prob Here

Hello Everyone, I've been having a similar problem playing one of my .wmv files.

I thought it was just the video was messed up so I downloaded a new copy of it with no luck.

The Singers screen remains black while the song is playing but if I drag it back to the Laptop while it's still playing it will start working on the laptop screen but not on the singers screen.

All my other videos work fine on both screens btw.

Anyone have any Ideas?

I'm not an expert on video but it sounds to me like you are missing a codec. If you don't have windows media 9 you might try installing that, I believe it has all the latest codecs for wmv. Microsoft may have just a codec package you can download.
