Installation-New user-problem

Error message after install Video Hoster 3.312 on my laptop, Hoster won't open up. Error Message rec'd: The procedure entry point ?MtuInit@@YAHXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library mtu.dll.

The other 4 programs from the Karaoke Suite 4 do. I originally installed to a created folder Hoster, then changed the name of the folder to Hoster-Micro Technology Unlimited. I thought that might be part of the problem, so I removed the program through add/remove programs and reinstalled to the renamed folder, but still get an error.

Microstudio error-New user install

Beavis-You're so smart! (I tried reinstalling earlier & Hoster still didn't work.) I had automatic updates on, but at your suggestion, I just installed IE 7.0 and Hoster works now. Thanks so much for the help.

However, now Microstudio doesn't work, but it was working. The error says: The procedure entry point ?MtuInit@YAHPAUHWND_@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library mtu.dll. Any suggestions?

Mindy

when you went to windows update page did you do the express method ?

you should do the custom method and see what isnt getting automatically installed. it will be on the left column when its done scanning.

Hoster-Microstudio problem-new user install

When I clicked the shortcut to open Microstudio after installing MS updates to IE7.0 & reinstalling Hoster, & it gave me the error message The procedure entry point ? MtuInit@YAHPAUHWND_@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library mtu.dll.

I then tried reinstalling Microstudio which got it to open up/work, but then Hoster wouldn't work again.

P.S. My MS updates are set to automatic, every day, but I did go to the custom method anyway, but there were no more updates to install.
