![]() They have started selling the new chartbusters essentials on a single scdg lately, is it compatable with a regular cdg player? the same places are no longer selling the 30 cdg package with the same songs on it. I wonder if thes is an industry move to a new format.
Will hoster eventually be able to read these? sounds like a real headache to me. 1500 songs on 1 cdg, imagine looking up disk 1 track 1351, ........ |

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
Sounds like super CDG which is a mp3+G format I think. Don't know much about them though. I do believe you have to have a SCDG player to use hem though. Wow, can you imagine one scratch taking out 300 songs at a time. Scarey stuff!

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
Looks like Super cdg is a new cdg format that at present time will only play on some CAV's players.

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
I don't see that MTU (or any other company) will ever be given the codes to play the SCDG format. Thus, these songs are strickly for CAVS players.
We are working on our own directions to download songs for MTU customers. ![]() |

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
The more one thinks about it, the stronger the rat is starting to smell.
Why would Chartbuster drop their Essentials 30 cd package with it's wide market appeal in favor of a product that has such limited market potential ? Can't help wonder who owns who, or who's paying who off....interesting. George |

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
Thanks on Super CD+G. I ran across it while I was looking for a new machine to play(in a cav ad site) our club music and wondered if it was going to become some new kind of standard.
I need a computer based system to store all my karaoke music data and MTU looks like where we are headed. Super CD+G was a stiker for a while. That's why i'm here. Now need to look into ordering the set up. Including repeats on my CD collection I hand load a ton of discs(or pay someone to do this). Need your help. Now all I need is specs for a new computer/harware(reader/recorder,etc) and get MTU software loaded up |

We have many users who buy their computer from MTU. That way, you get it and you are running, out of the box. Our Portable PC is an excellent value with everything integrated and installed. If you have any questions, contact MTU Sales, or ask them here. ![]() |

Re: Does Anyone Know Anything About The Scdg Format
Chartbuster has no plans (so I'm told) to stop production of their 30 CDG Essential 450 series, they are still available.
