best file type to rip to

OK, there are so many types of files supported by Hoster, which file type are most of you ripping your CDG's to, I do not want to compromise quality.
Thanks,
On Call

Microstudio imports BIN files which are THE highest quality. To rip your songs, you want to use the best if you are driven to do so.

Hoster's native KMA format when importing CDG disc tracks is called CDCDG. This uses WMA compression, which exceeds the quality of MP3. In Hoster 4.0, we support 128Kb WMA compression as the minimum. The 96Kbit we used to support can add hiss noise when you listen closely, or use 2,000+ watt speakers.

So, if only using Hoster, select 128Kbit.

If using Microstudio, you automatically get BIN, which you can import into Hoster with the Import Hard Drive Files screen.

FYI: BIN format files take 11MBytes/minute of song playing time.
WMA 128Kbit compressed files are about 1/8th that size. If you don't have the hard drive storage, import with Hoster's KMA at 128Kbit.
