the disc skipped

Ok its happened 3 times now the lyrics on songs haved skipped back to an earlier point! These are all songs that I haved played before, and they worked fine so its not a problem with the recording. More than likely its something in my computer effecting hoster and not hoster itself, but I did buy the computer from MTU also.

Has this ever happed to anyone else?

Have you checked the files to see if it happens every time? If so it may be in the imported copy that way. I have heard of audio cutting out or glitching but never the video backing up.

I moved this Thread to Hoster Help where it will be serviced better.

I agree with Dale, I too have never heard of this problem.

Some questions for you to answer:

1. Your title implies you are playing DISC TRACKS. Is this so, or are you playing imported KMA files from the hard drive? If KMA files, when you add them to the Playlist, what TYPE appears (CDCDG, HDZIP, etc.). This can make a difference.

2. What version of Hoster are you running?

Suggestions:

1. Use Microstudio to play the offending KMA file(s) to see if it shows the same problem.

2. Run the Hoster install program, click REMOVE (not UPDATE) and remove it. Only the code will be removed, not KMA or even your Hoster presets. Then run the install again and it will install a new copy of Hoster. If you received an email recently from us to download Hoster 3.318, I'd suggest you download and use this newest install program.

3. It may be something on your computer has changed. Do you remember instaling any new software, or adding new hardware?

4. Have you done all the Windows Updates? Be sure to use the CUSTOM (versus EXPRESS) mode to verify ALL updates your computer should have.

Please post back here what your results are. This is a unique problem we'd like to identify what is going wrong.

First thing that popped into mind when I read it, is this possibly an intermittant hardware accellerator problem?

We've never seen it intermittant before, but the way things are going lately???

Dunno, just brainstorming.
