Question New Hard Drive

I just installed a larger hard drive on my MTU laptop. How do I tell "Hoster" to recognize that the Song files are now on the C Drive and not the external one?

rebuild your database and direct it to the new folder

I tried to rebuild but it keeps recognizing the external drive. I even deleted the "Eongs"

You have to change the folder listed at the top of the rebuild database screen. Be sure and delete the external drive folder from the list before you rebuild.
If this doesn't work then delete the songs.mdb and songs_backup.mdb files, then reopen Hoster and set the folder again to build it new.

So now when you open the buid database screen the e: songs location is still listed? This would be weird if so.

If so here is a workaround: Make sure the correct C: folder is the topmost folder which it should be if for some weird reason the E drive is being added back in after adding the C: drive folder. If you rebuild the database now it will rebuild useing the kma's in the c: drive first and then stop when it tries to acces the E: (which is disconnected, right?). Even if the rebuild stops prematurely what it has read is still useable.
