Using an hard drive

At present I have approximately 2000 kma. songs In Hoster 3316 on my computer. I am running out of drive space and am interested in installing an external hard drive. I viewed a post-reply by "nreel" dated 05-06-2005 explaining how to import songs to an external drive. If I did as the instructions say will I have to import the 2000 songs I already have in the defalt folder to the external drive or will Hoster play from both drives? I have not seen anything that covers this topic

Not being able to read nreel's post I can't comment on that but yes Hoster will play songs stored in different folders and hard drives.

Or you can copy them to the new drive to the folder you are going to use for importing and then delete them from the C: drive to make some additional free space on the C: drive. Then all you have to do is rebuild the database pointing to the new folder.

I would imagine You view the same screen as do I when you open hoster- help in the forum. The original post appears just before the post We are presently using. Krash55918 submitted the original post. "downloading cdg's into an external hard drive"
I will give it a go.
