Can't find Songbook to print

I've read the manual, I've read posts on this subject back as far as June 4th. I've tried the double click 'computor' -program files-MTU-hoster, still no songbook. I've tried control panel-useraccounts-uncheck box. Still no book to print. I know I'm probably missing one simple step. I'd appreciate any help geeting a songbook printed. By the way I'm runnung Vista. Thanks Larry

just create a shortcut on your desktop for the songbook.

Thanks.. I got the icon on the desktop, and can get to songbook. But can't get songs to playlist. I've tried clickin' and draggin' but nothing. Is there some way or place to put in a number and it goes to the playlist?
Thanks Larry

songbook

I certainly appreciate the help. Now that I can print the book, can you tell me how to get a song to the playlist from the book. Is there a place or a way to put a number in that a singer brings you from the book that will automatically go to the playlist?
Thanks Larry

The songbook is nothing but a songbook.
To enter a number in the playlist use the bookid field in the center towards the top of the playlist screen or use the search window (click on the search button top right hand corner of the playlist screen) and enter a song title.

At the top of the playlist there is a "Help" button where you can find the manual that will cover all this from A-Z.

you need to open the program in order to use the software.

im sure you know how to do it because you imported the cdg's in order to create a songbook.

just open the program and put type the book id of the song you want to play then put the singers name in, hit enter then select it from the box below and hit play !

theres a lot more to running a show than importing and playing the song, you need to set up your computer to dual display plus get the sound out to a amp and so on.........

how far along are you ??

Thanks Sam and Beavis

I was up till 'bout 1:30 this morning playing, and I think I'm getting close to understanding how to get around in this. Beavis, to answer your question, I think I've about got most of the basics. The hardest part is trying to remember how I got where I am, or back where I was. This Karaoke thing started as a cheap all-in-one player set up in the barn, after riding someone would say 'lets sing'(after a couple cold whatevers). Over the last couple of years we've up graded, and the box that holds everything is so heavy, I thought 'there's got to be an easier way', and I think with help from guys like you, it will be great!
Thanks again Larry
