Unhappy Where Is The Problem, microstudio? Computor? Burner?

MICROSTUDIO? COMPUTOR? BURNER?

I HAVE IMPORTED CDG TRACKS TO THE CUSTOM ASSEMBLY TAB FROM ANOTHER CDG DISC. CLICKED (WRITE CD TAB) TO COPY A NEW DISC WITH MY PLEXTOR BURNER. THE COPY SPEED IS 4X'S. MOST OF THE TRACKS ARE COPIED,BUT SOME TIMES THE BURNER WILL NOT COPY ALL THE TRACKS IMPORTED AND STOP MIDWAY OR WILL COPY ONLY A FEW TRACKS OR COPY ALL BUT ONE OR TWO, IT VARIES. ANYWAY, I HAVE TO COPY, AND COPY UNTIL I GET EVERTHING I'VE IMPORTED COPIED, AND SOMETIMES I CAN NEVER GET ALLTHE TRACKS COPIED NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY TO BURN A COPY. I'M USING MEMOREX CDR DISC. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT CAN BE DONE TO CURE THESE PROBLEMS I'M HAVING?

Question Is Auto Insert Notification enabled?

It sounds like you have Auto Insert Notification enabled. This will cuase the behavior you are reporting.

Read your manual Troubleshooting Guide section about the disc not being 100% written.

You can also find how to disable Auto Insert by clicking here to read this web page.

Also, check out the Microstudio Tech Support Forum threads. If you are still having problems, run DXDIAG (there is a thread discussing this) and post the resulting file as an attachment here.

AFTER CHEKING EVERYTHING THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR HAS INFORMED YOU TO DO, AND YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEMS TRY ANOTHER BRAND OF CDR'S. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT NIGHTMARES WITH THE MEMOREX BRAND. THE MEMOREX DOES THE SAME THING FOR ME AS THEY DO FOR YOU. THEY EVEN GIVE ME POOR QUALITY IN JUST A AUDIO CD.

Another thing that could cause this problem is if you don't have your ASPI drivers updated. You can update your ASPI drivers here: http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...p?threadid=493

Also, as Meester Ham stated, I wouldn't use Memorex CD's. The brand that we recommend is Mitsui, which you can purchase from www.mediasupply.com

Memorex are no good. Out of a fifty disc spindel I was lucky to be able to get 6 good copies. I now will only use Fuji, Imation or Kypermedia to copy any cd's whether they be audio, CDG, video or data. those are the only ones I have have been able to burn cleans copies on without running into bad medium messages.

Other brands to be wary of are TDK, Sony, Hi-Val as they don't copy right.
