Songbook Question Re: Duplicates

As I'm sure all of you have, I have a lot of duplicates, same song by different manufacturers.

Is there any way to get the computer to print a songbook that lists each title only once?

These suckers aren't cheap to print, as we all know

If there is a simple answer to this question that doesn't involve some sort of long by hand solution that's readily available and I just don't see it, please both direct me to it and feel free to call me an idiot. I can take it.

No there is not a way to do this yet. It has been proposed but not implemented yet. Search in Hoster New Features and you will find a thread on this subject.

thanks. Can anyone recommend a downloadable (preferably free but not a dealbreaker) songbook program that will do this?

Manually

I Still use KJ-Pro and the only way is to go through and manually pick which version you want in a created custom songbook a real pain but it works.

KJpro will list the duplicates, however, and they can be deleted quickly.
I keep one database as a master for all songs and one that contains no duplicates that I use for the audience copy, as I call it.

Musicbox Deluxe has a program where you can prioritize the songbook by brand. This way, you can eliminate some of your duplicates. It has many other features which might work for you. Daryl.
