Creating Song Lists (Demo functional?)

I don't think that I will ever be hosting professional shows. But I've gotten to a point where I want to have all my songs in one place and be able to make a list for people like church groups, or schoolroom classes that might be having fun with me.

Microstudio does all of this except:

1. File compression (easily handled by free software) I am still interested in kma
2. Printing a list. sort by artist, song, spanish-english etc.

I downloaded the demo to see if Hoster would solve those problems as well as give me the added advantages of Hoster, but I am not sure how much the demo is hampered, in terms of identifying discs, importing a list from files created in another folder etc.

I've never used the demo so besides the import time and play time being limited (1.5 min? ) , I'm not sure what else might be limited.

If I'm reading your post correctly Hoster will do all that with ease. The problem with using Microstudio is that it's not meant for putting on a show. The biggie is the fact that it's not dual display IE you can't have the program on the computer and the lyrics on a TV at the same time.

Except for the fact you want a songbook HosterLite would fit the bill for you, but since you want a songbook you'd have to go with the full Hoster program.
