lost songs

i am missing songs that used to have on my harddrive. upgraded hoster and now some songs are missing. I used to be able to go into the data base and find songs with the same id and change the id and the other songs would come back, now when i try to open the database it ask for a password what is that, dj freddy

Freddy,
Try merge database instead of rebuild to correct any duplicate BookIDs.

Maybe you are trying to open the wrong database file? Bucket.mdb is password protected but Songs.mdb (which is the listing of your song files) is not.

i kinda have the same problem..but i have just one cdg that is in my hardrive (all my kma files are in my ext. drive) ..it has about 17 songs in it..but when i do a search it will come up,but it's only showing 1 song..

billyo, try using edit to delete that cd and re-import it.
