Unhappy vista 'v' hoster!!

help i have just new laptop with vista pre installed and i bought and successfully installed hoster 3.316 but the music and lyrics are out of sync now i have tried the advance and retard tabs and any instructions or help i can find on the forum or the manual seems to be only for windows xp
this is driving me mad and i need help asap as i have a gig coming up very soon so please can anyone help ASAP many thanks

I would start by going to the video and audio manufactuers websites and download and install the latest drivers.

Try this procedure and see if it will help. Only change to the following for Vista is "Open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Start button , typing dxdiag in the Search box, and then pressing ENTER." This is according to Microsoft Help.

How far ahead/behind is the graphic display?

I couldn't get the first link to work.

I was going to suggest adjusting the hardware acceleration but I could not find it in dxdiag in either sound 1 or 2, also did a search for it in the computer help, so I assumed Vista didn't use this.

hoster 'v' vista resolved

many thanks for your replys i downloaded the lastet drivers even tho laotop brand new! but it worked! and now im up and running many thanks again
