Windows Vista

I just installed hoster 3.316 on two computers one runs XP the other is Vista. When trying to build the song data base using a USB external HD, on the vista machine it knows how many songs to build the data base with but never accesses the drive and flys thru the count and then adds zero songs to data base. XP machine no problems, works well using the same process it takes a 15 -20 minutes to build and works fine. Any Help with this would be appreciated.

This is a known problem with Vista. You can either turn off the UAC (User Access Control) which disables all of the Vista added security. Or you can set Hoster.exe to run as administrator under the properties of the file and that will allow Hoster access to anything on any drive. There is a FAQ on this in the Support Center.
