installation disc

Hi, We purchased Hoster V3.314 in January with the disc option. We are now upgrading/changing our computer and want to install Hoster to that computer using the CD and it will not allow us. Does anyone know the reason? We purposely purchased the CD so we would not have to connect to the internet for downloads as our internet service is unreliable. Oh, and we have Windows Vista. Thanks for any suggestions

What is the error message you are getting?

There should be no reason why you can't install on a second computer, as long as you haven't installed on 2 computers already. As Dale requested, we need the error message you are seeing to help you.

Hoster 3.314 will NOT run under Windows Vista. You need to upgrade to Hoster 3.316, which will run under Vista. If you submit a Support Ticket http://www.mtu.com/kb/support-center.htm and ask for a download link, we will send it to you. Support Tickets are confidential, while this Forum is public.

THere is no error message, it appears that the program has loaded, however, it is not in our programs file and there is no icon on the desktop. The second section of your reply is probably my answer, it is the Vista problem. Everything we have heard about Vista is negative but you can not buy a computer now without it. We will search out the download for the version of Hoster you mentioned. Thank you.
