We need some more information to be able to help.
What operating system? What type of computer? What kind of DVD or CD player? Are all of the Microsoft updates done for the operating system including the ones you can only get by using the Custom Update from their website? Have you checked and installed the latest firmware updates for your drive? With these answers we will have a much better chance of helping find the problem.

Might be helpful also to know the source of the file, and what, if any, particular system it was designed for(CAVS, etc).
A knee jerk reaction makes me see a strong similarity to an audio file that is not sampled at 16 bit, 44 khz. Could be wrong, but the behavior is strikingly the same. |

Usually when posters report a "buzzing" it means they've tried to import it into the database.
At this point in time VCD tracks and other video files can only be played from the video tab on the playlist screen. You can play them directly from the disk or transfer (copy&paste) the the files to the hard drive and play from there. You should find the info you need in the manual. Post back if you have problems finding the info. Sam
