Hoster Upgrade

If I am running Hoster 3.3 and want the upgrade to 4.03 I have to purchase the 4.0 version? Why is it that there are many other programs out there that have a lot of features that you are now just getting around to. These programs are a lot less expensive then having to purchace upgrade after upgrade?

Thats what I am getting at.....I am broke! you know how hard it is to keep busy in a broke town where everyone thinks just because they have akaraoke machine trhey are kj's? They are killing us professionals with their 100 buck and less nights...how do u compete and keep up with the upgrades with this situation.....hey I know someone read this...thanks for leting me vent....as for you bootleggers out there I hope u get busted while ur doing ur 100 buck night.....

Have you tried any of those other programs that have those features. Half of the features don't work right and the other half are so hard to use that many of the KJs don't bother. My wife's sister went one place where the guy was using S & D And he wouldn't change the key for her said it was too hard to figure out.
Also, they do not offer any free updates or discounted upgrades. Every time they change their program you have to buy a new version at full price. That can add up to a whole lot more than Hoster.
The only way to fight those guys who are out there with the cheap systems is to provide the best quality sound and the best show you can perform. The word will get around and the singers will flock to the best show in the area.

All of us legal (as legal as we can be ) Karaoke hosts have to deal with pirates, I focus on doing a great show and don't even talk about them. They will get theirs, folks always support the best host.

$69.99 is alot of money? Hell I put that in my truck last week and gas has come down. The singer database, the new screen display and the ETA time (what time a singer will sing) features are worth that alone and there is more to come, FOR FREE! (once you pay the $69.99)

Can someone loan me $69.99?

for real in this part of indiana we professionals are getting booted as I said before by the 100.00 night acts....and people around here don't seem to care. I am not in haste...I have appreciated the quailty performance Hoster has given me/ I have read many threads and I can honestly say I have had only one issue...that was the one version that moved thee .kma path...but like always the good people at MTU came with a fix....well as I understood it wasnt Hoster it was windows interacting with the software causing it....MTU has done a wonderful job.......it's just I don't pirate so funds are always tight when u buy legit...

That does suck Mark and you are right, I've got over $15,000 in a computer and discs alone. Legit is expensive but I can sleep at night knowing I'm not stealing from anybody.

I wish I could give you a copy of Hoster 4.03 but that would be pirating.

GOD sees that every legit karaoke host has every advantage, he takes care of his own (Thank You FATHER). The money will turn up you'll see. 4.03 is well worth the $69.99.

the price is good.....not really complaining...just frustrated at the people around here not wanting to give up the money....yes if u gave me a copy it would be pirating......so if you buy the quad package, have one set of discs and use 4 systems at for different shows, is that pirating? From what I understood.....one disc file for each data file? if u cant produce 4 sets of discs for 4 systems is that illegal? I will buy 4.0 as soon as my V.A. pension gets here.......you people that respond and help are greatly appreciated.

YES, if you are making money with all four systems. If you are making money with only one, the rest could be concidered back-ups.

I will buy 4.0 as soon as my V.A. pension gets here.......you people that respond and help are greatly appreciated.
