media center karaoke plug in

i just got a notification while downloading microsoft updates, it's about
a karaoke plug in designed for microsoft windows xp media center edition
" user can use this plug in to select audio channels when playing vcd or dvd" and it says " with this plug in the user can enjoy karaoke experience in media center using popular audio/video file,e.g wmp3/wma not necessary depend on special media files or special devices".....did anyone get this and if so..would this create a problem while running hoster if downloaded ? i got this from genuine microsoft software notification this is by no means endorsing anything...

I can't see this being a problem or conflict as Hoster is not using the same kind of files.
