need to reinstall hoster due to system instability can you help please

norton 360 caused it windows explorer keeps closing down on its own

Try uninstalling Norton 360. This may require you to manually remove some of it as Norton has never cleaned up after themselves very well. If you need help on this part we can try to talk you through it.

If that doesn't fix it then try a System Restore to back before the problem.
If that doesn't work then you will need to reload the computer from scratch inbcluding reloading all programs. Not the most fun, so is a last resort.

If you choose to uninstall Norton and run into trouble you can use the Norton Removal Tool http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...nsf&view=docid
