Unhappy building song data base on vista

The problem I have is when building song database it counts the files; however, it will only adds the 6 that is on the main drive and there is 10000 other files it will not read on the external hard drive. On the XP i have no problem with that what can be the other issue?

can my copy i downloaded be corrupt and if so can i download a fresh copy need help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No your copy isn't corrupt. It is Vista causing this. Go to windows explorer, highlight the drive, right click on it, go to properties, then security tab, then edit, then click on the allow tab.
That will allow Hoster to build the database.

Let me know if that does fix it, it should.
