Hoster aborts at the end of converting to KMA

Hi:

My problem is that every time that I tried to import from CD to convert to KMA the process aborts at the very end of the conversion. I tried to import from Hard Drive. I used microstudio to copy my cdg's. It went all right but when I tried to use Hoster it won't import neither. It displayed this words
"Open error for HDCDG/HDBIN
import, The track can not be imported"

Any help will be truly appreciated

Rickyrey

did you try and rebuild the database first ??

i would also try re-installing hoster. make sure you are up to date with windows updates before you re-install.

I did everything that you suggested, still the same problem. I even erased all the MTU software from programs file and cleaned up the registry. Does not work . This is like the 7 time that I tried. No luck so far. Hope to get this problem solve soon. Thanks for your suggestions. I don't know what to think because I was checking the Hoster manual and the abort tab should appear if I terminate the importing but I don't do that. I just wait and at the very end of the importing..."abort"...again in every song doesn't matter the disc manufacturer. I had not been able to import a single song. HELP '''

It sounds like to me that your Hard drive is out of Free space. How much free space do you have on your C:\ drive.

Well, I thought about that but it works just fine with Karaoke Suite and I can import with Microstudio with no problem at all. Any way I have another boxed Plextor so I will try your suggestion. Thanks

RickeyRey,
Make sure that you have Free space on the Drive that you are importing the files from also. All of your drives must have some free space, or I have found that this can occur. This was fixed in Hoster 3.120. So you can also go to your store account at: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-website.htm to figure out how to get to your update.

Bryan:

My current version is 3.12. I have several hard disks connected to my computer but every one of them have at least 60g available. I think that maybe a program that I have (I have several music and video program installed) may be interfering with Hoster. Any ideas about that?

What drive is your Save to folder set to? This must be set to a Hard drive.

Also, are you trying to Import the files using the Import HD Tracks Dialog or the Import CD tracks Dialog?

I am importing to Hoster Default but I had tried others and it is the same. It doesn't matter the way I import (CD or HD) it aborts at the end of the KMA converting process of the first track that I try to import and it de-select the rest of the disk or file.

i dont think there is a default folder. you must manually do this function.

i would try and change the folder you are importing to and create a new one on the computers hard drive, not external. you can always drag and drop your kma's to the correct folder then rebuild your database.
