Unhappy Program Crash on Customer CD Import

I know I have seen a couple of cases of this in the threads but couldn't find them with search. I think it may have been added to a different topic so won't come up.

Anyway, I have not experienced any problems with Hoster on my show machine since starting with it, until now. All of a sudden Hoster is crashing when we try to import from singer's CD during the show. It has done this to me a couple of times and one was with a brand new Chartbuster as a test. I should also mention that using the regular Import from CD to load new CDGs works fine.

I have cleaned my drive (Plextor 716A) and just upgraded it to 3.303 from 3.301. Did all that Sunday and didn't get a chance to test it before my partner's show.

Now my question to MTUSupport or Admin was part of the "Bug Fix" for 3.303 dealing with this or something else? If so then I'm OK if not I may have other problems.

Thanks Beavis. I guess we hadn't imported for anyone since 3.300 until a week ago, so didn't realize there was a problem.

I also tested this pretty heavily in 3.303 and was unable to get it to crash. Please let me know if this did fix it for you on your system.

Will do Bryan, but it will be next weekend before I can test it. Since we only work in one club the equipment stays there and it is quite a ways away from our weekday home/work.

we had problems with importing singers disc at one time, we kinda solved that problem , once you inserted the disc in the drive ( plextor ) and type in the track # song and singer, you have to wait for it to spin once and wait for the light to start blinking then click import...at least that's how we do it.

Bryan, sorry I didn't get back on this as quickly as I said I would. Import is working great now. Have not had any shutdowns from that in 2 weekends worth of shows. Thanks for a great program and for listening to us.
