Unhappy Hoster demo error

Help!! We want to check out Hoster 3.300, downloaded the demo to our Gateway 1.5 MHZ, 80gig, 512MB system, and after installing (and re-installing) it comes up with this error message..."The procedure entry point OpenVxDHandle could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll".....at first it came up with a "can't find ordinal 11 ..in DSOUND.dll" message, put a copy of that in Hoster folder, now the procedure entry point error comes up instead. Any ideas? We have heard so much good about Hoster and want to check it out before buying, but this is not encouraging.

What you need to do to fix the Dsound.dll error is Install the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft as described in this FAQ: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-h...tm#DSOUNDError

I have never heard of the other Error you are getting, but I bet this will fix it.

Also make sure you have all of the Windows Updates on that computer, from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
