if so the black screen should be the singer's name screen. go into tools and modify the singers screen color and see if the color changes. I actually had to do that the first time I wnted to use the screen. or does the lytric screen come up in black and white? might be your video out isn't set on ntsc but is on pal setting. you need to go into your settings to change it to ntsc if that is the case. 3: does your lyric screen even show up? or can you see your mouse on the tv when you move it off the main screen's monitor. This might mean you might have turned off your second screen. always hook up all your monitors including your tv and turn them on before your turn on your computer. find an empty spot on your main screen and right click on your mouse. a box should appear, click on properties and the display options box should appear. click on the tab on the top that says settings. find the picture of the monitors and click on the one that your tv should be (uasually monitor 2) although a buddy of mines computer says it's monitor 1 for some reason (has to do something with the fact he's running 2 actual cards instead of just one card with 2 heads). after that look for a check box that says extend my desktop and you should have your tv back. The singers screen is present but too far off the screen to see.
If you don't want to risk going into the registry to get your singers screen back. Try this to get it back. Temporarily change the screen resolution to a higher one, you will then see it. Move it in on the screen. then change the resolution back to normal. You should then be able to see it and move it to where you want it. That works for me. |

Other than the suggestions you already have. You might try, from the desktop, (Properties/Settings/Advanced/ Color Management/and check the mode.
Posibilities: The card software needs to be installed again, or The card is not the one needed for this application. It ought to be at least Mobility Radeon 9000 or better, and I think manufactured by ATI. Maybe MTU might step in here. |

oh yeah,
always make sure your video card is up to date (drivers) from the manufacturer, not microsoft. |
