music stopping during play

I have just recently purchased a new portable computer about one month ago and upgraded to the new version of Hoster at the same time.

4 times I have experienced complete loss of sound (on different songs) when I play a track and have had to stop and restart the track to correct the fault.

In addition, a further 3 times I have experienced complete loss of sound (on different songs) halfway through a track i.e. It played fine until halfway through when the music stopped but the lyrics carried on.

This problem has occurred on tracks that are frequently used so it is not a problem with how they have been imported.

Please advise me!

The program works. What type of Sound Card do you have in your computer? It sounds as if you need to make sure you have the Latest drivers for the Sound Card as stated by Beavis. Also make sure that you have all the Windows Updates from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
