Back Up
I would like to have Hoster on an external drive as a back in case my computer dies. I'm betting I could find some one with a computer with the specs required in an emergency. I would then install Hoster on there computer to run the show. After the show unistalling Hoster of course.
Now, How can I install Hoster off line for it to work. Do I have to buy a CD install with my serial number on it? or what do you suggest. I like having back up to the back up. |

i think you will need the cd to install on another computer (or internet connection) that has never had hoster on it.
it is best to drag and drop the kma's to another drive for back up. i even suggest burning them to DVD's. |

Hoster requires connection to the Internet via direct on-line or via a Floppy Disc attached to a computer that is direct on-line. It will not install without one or the other.
If you install your Hoster on someone else's computer, you will violate your License. Either buy a second computer that you own, or don't have a backup. As Beavis suggests, backup your KMA files on a USB hard drive which can then easily be accessed to build the Songs.mdb database on the new computer... that you own. ![]() |
