![]() When Importing Zip Files Be Advised That If The Zip Files Were Created Using Max Compression Then Hotser Will Not Play That File. This Creates A Problem If You Are Going To Import Batch Files (numerous Songs All At Once). Hoster Will Import The Song Anyway And You Will Not Know It Did Not Get Imported Correctly Until You Try Playing The Song. You Will Then Get A Red Error Message On The Status Field.
You Can Check And See If The File Is Bad Before Importing By Trying To Play It First. If The File Is Bad Because Of Max Compression You Will Get An Error Message. Unforunally You Have To Do This One At A Time And It Defeates The Purpose Of The Batch File In The First Place. I Batch Filed About 2000 Songs Last Night And Have Since Deleted Them Since Numerous Ones Would Not Play And I Did Not Know Which Ones Would Play And Which Ones Would Not Unless I Listened To Every Song. That's Not Gonna Happen!!! If Your Zip File Is Bad For Any Other Reason, I Have Found That Hoster Will Not Import That Song And There Is A Error Log Of The Songs That Are Bad In The Hoster Main Folder. This Is Great And Helps Alot. ![]() I Know Mtu Knows About The Bad Compression Problem Already But I Don't Know If It Is Something They Are Going To Fix. If Anyone Has Found A Way To Get Around This Bad Compression Problem Please Let Me Know. It Is Possible To Uncompress The Bad Max Compression File Then Re-zip It But It Is A Lot Of Work And As Far As I Know You Have To Do Each Song One At A Time |

Haven't checked into it my self but I have been told by others on this forum that there are utilities that will batch unzip and rezip
Maybe the latest MP3Gtoolz. I know there were some compression problems with older versions. Or you could unzip them all to mp3g and import that way? Sam
