Chartbuster Last Track Not Importing
In the past, I know Sound Choice track 15 would not import. Now for the last four Chartbuster discs I have tried to import, I could not import the last song. Hoster would read about 80% of the track and hang there, never finishing reading the track.
The discs in question are: Chartbuster Pro 90000 Dolly Parton 90147 Chartbuster Por 5000 Blue Grass CG5027-01 CG5027-02 CG5027-03 I had to delete the last songs from my songbook. Is this because of something Chartbuster is doing to the discs, or is it something wrong with Hoster? |

More info for my previous post
When I say the last track would not import, I am talking about the last track with a song title listed. After that last track, all of these discs have an extra track that seems to have nothing on it.
Naturally I did not attempt to import those tracks. |

These are multi-session disks. Sound Coice, Chartbuster, Top Tunes, and probably others are now using this.
There are 2 ways to deal with these. 1) you can archive your disk with microstudio. When you get to track fifteen (or the last music track) and microstudio hangs, eject the disk, microstudio will show an error but you find that it did import track. 2) you can import that one problem track with microstudio as explained above and then import into Hoster as a HD track (3.008 or 3.110) . Hoster 3.120 which is tentatively due out the end of this month will import multisession directly. ![]() Sam

Why to they call it Multi-Session? Is that just a term for the fact you can't import the last track, or does the disc have some other quality that I'm not aware of?
I will wait for 3.120 and retry importing those tracks. Thanks |

The reason it is named Multisession is because it has 2 actual sessions on the Disk. One is the Audio or Karaoke, the second is a Data track that is just a bit of Data that they have put on the disk to make it harder to be copied.
Thats whee the name comes from.
