Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

Linda,
I am sorry that you are having so many problems. What are the exact problems that you are having? I don't understand, your post has only been in here for less than an hour, and it is now answered, but your information does not tell me anything. I need the EXACT details as to your problem.

Do you get an error? Also when you say it won't upgrade to the version 3.00x, you paid for, what do you mean, this was the version that you purchased 3/19/05. You didn't have a version before this, so this should be the only version you Ever had installed.

I see that you had also installed the software again on 5/08/05, so you have installed it and it went through.

Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

This is the problem, I paid for v3.00 on hard disc but recieved a outdated version with a invitation to upgrade click on the upgrade in your websight. I have aol and can not download this..that is why I purchused this on hard disc. Sooooooooo...thats the first problem...Second problem, this version will not let me acsess my music which is downloaded into a external drive E in mp3g format.I like the program thats why I chose this, however a cheap version of sax and dotty's will a least let me import my music. Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

Linda,
The Hoster 3.006 is what you recieved on CD. This was the current shipping version at the time you purchased. If you read the Upgrades page you will see that Hoster 3.108 just came out. There is no way for us to ship you a version, that has not been developed, if you order a hard copy. Here is the Dates of Releases: http://www.mtu.com/support/hoster-versions.htm, notice Hoster 3.108 which supports .mp3+g files and .zip files was released on 4/25/05. This is over a month from when you had purchased your Hard Copy.

What you need to do is Open Internet Explorer, while you are connected to AOL, then type in your "Personal Download Link" exactly as it appears, using lowercase and capital letters. It will then give you Hoster 3.108, so that you can then save this file on your Hard drive and then burn it to a disk.

This version does support the MP3+g files, and the next versions will have even more support for MP3+G files.

Sounds like you have a web accelerator on your computer. That will eat up your downloads. Needs to be turned off. I don't know how to turn them off. Maybe George or MTU could help you

Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

Emphasize using Internet Explorer while running AOL. AOL and their brethren Compuserve will download something but not a workable application. I've been down that road.

I beleive the download instruction has some info on turning off the web accelerator (I'm on the wrong computer to verify this).

I also called them to talk to a real person, but that doesn't work either, all I get is a answering machine. So I say "they got my money but no support".

Have patience, MTUSUPPORT and/or ADMIN will answer you soon. They may have to reset your registration on their end since your download accelerator used up all available downloads. Please don't bash the support here. they are awesome and work FULL-TIME to help people here.

Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

Since the allowable downloads were already eaten up, it will do no good to try to keep downloading until MTU has a chance to reset your downloads.

At that time the accellerators MUST BE TURNED OFF, or the cycle will repeat itsef.

I saw AOL advertising faster downloads and suspected they were using accellerators. This confirms that for me. Woe the unsuspecting customers, and who will they blame...yep, the software providers. Guess that's human nature, though.

Re: what support??? You got my money now I can't get any help???

I doubt it, they relay on others in the forum to help and thats all, other then auto e-mails they might send. I'm sure they are busy people but that doesn't help me, I need this to work or I'll lose my job.
