Problem with imports.

Ok to set a scenario for you. I play a bar were I don't allow a lot of cursing on the mic. The owner is a 68 year old female, So I have a parody cd that I will allow people to sing from. Well I guess the problem started saturday night when a regular showed and wanted to sind from the parody disk, So I rebuild the song list as I do have them in a seperate directory, D:\Karaoke is were all my normal music is stored and this is in a sub of that D:\Karaoke\adult well that was saturday night and on sunday I went to put someone up for the bar owners favorite oldie which is sixteen candles and well I found it in the search and selected from there and all I actually received was "Deatchable P#n#s So I did a rebuild tonight without the adult directory and sixteen candles played.

Can anyone tell me what happenend?
P.S The disk numbers are very different one is a music maestro 6000 something and the other is a custom assembly numbered A189.

Re: Problem with imports.

You, most likely, share the same BookID with the two discs.

Q1. If you are only going to allow the Adult songs to be sung occasionally, why not just burn them to a disc and queue the disc when needed via add CDG?

Q2. Or, why not Import the Adult songs into the same Folder as the rest of your KMAs? Is it because you don't want them to appear in your SongList? If this is the case, see Question 1.

Q3. Or, why not put two Folder Song Locations in your Build Song Database? Is it because you don't want them to appear in your SongList? If this is the case, see Question 1.

Yeah it seems like a lot of mental gynastics to go through, when all you really got to do is politely tell patrons to pick another song when you can't allow adult selections. JMO.

Re: Problem with imports.

Agree with Nreel, sounds like a duplicate bookid# problem,

If the reason you cant have them in the same folder is because you dont want them to print in your books you can preface the entries with ZZZ, that way whether by artist or title they will always be at the bottom and you can just cut it off at the point.
