Cool KMA to ??? Conversion

I just converted 36k zip files to KMA. Now I have software to convert my zip to bin or cdg etc etc so I can burn a disc. Is there a program to convert KMA files to Bin or cdg to burn to disc.....If not this is a good thing to put in the next upgrade or poss pay upgrade? What do you think Brian?

Question Refer KMAs to ???

Hi There,

Sorry I can't answer what program you need to convert KMA to BIN or CDG, as I'm new to this myself. It's just that I read your post and I wondered how you managed to convert 36k zip files to KMA. What was in the zip files (mp3+gs?), and what program did you use to convert them into KMAs?

Do you know if I can convert mp3+g's into KMAs and be able to run Hoster using the book id number to search for the songs (if you use MTU's Hoster)?

Thanks, hope i haven't confused you!

Mike.

Hoster 3.110 can import MP3+G, ZIP, BIN and CDG (with audio and cdg graphics) into KMA files, index them in the Songs Database and print them in your Song Books.

At present KMA's cannot be converted to any other format. I know it's being looked at as a possible future upgrade, but do not know of any timetable.

It imports and converts (or vice/versa) from a Hard drive. It does not overwrite the old zips or bin's or whatever, so if you are importing from an external HD, when you are done you can put it away as a backup.

Hard Drive full of Zips and HDD full of KMA's

I know this conversion tool could be hacked out very quickly. I hope it is something that is included in the next upgrade or two. I have a HDD with 150 gigs of mp3 zips and a HDD now full of KMA's. I need both because I want to burn a cdg off the HDD every once in a while and I can't do it at this time off of KMA"S...do you feel my pain MTU?

Why can't you just burn a copy off the original disk rather than the HDD, it would be much quicker ?
