Need Help ith A Reinstall
I had a power failer the other night, that took down my system. The power flickered for a moment, then I got a message saying Windows had encountered a problem and needed to shut down. Upon rebooting, my computer would do nothing but go to the windows splash screen, and then begin to reboot again...over and over. long story short story, I had to reformat the hard drives and reinstall windows and all my video drivers. I'm trying to reinsxtall Hoster with the Original CD I purchased. it's not letting me complete the install becasue the ethernet port I now have to use is different than the one that I originally installed with, as I had to change to a USB port with the onboard ethernet port quit working. I will be happy to give you all the necessary info in a private e-mail to authenticate that this is the same computer, but I need some help from admin.

try hitting the F8 button when in the bios screen. then boot in safe mode and see whats going on.

Yeah I did all that earlier when the problem happened. The computer wouldn't even boot in safe mode or restore to an earlier restore point. I'm basically back to reinstalling everything fresh as I had to reinstall windows as well. that's where I require admins help becaue the version of Hoster is 2.014 and I've changed ethernet connections since that version and now Hoster won't re-install becasue it thinks it's a different computer. I need to install this older version of Hoster so I can upgrade to the new 3.05 on this computer. The only saving grace is this is a separate back up system so i'm still in business with my laptop that I have already upgraded.

I dont think you will have to install an earlier version. just get a hold of MTU and have them fix your registration. im not saying for sure they will do it but they might.

yes, I managed to import my orginal version of Hoster, 2.014 I think, and I purchased the upgrade to 3.06 and it won't let me complete the install because I don't have the original product ID. I have the unlock code because I bought the disc (not internet delivery) but I don't have this code they are asking for. So if you'll e-mail me and let me know how to purchase this I will be good to go. There are also some issues with my registered e-mail I'd like to discuss in private.
