MP3 Music
Some MP3 song stop with 1-2 sec left of the song and will not go on to the next song unless skip or stop is clicked and song is start by clicking play. Is any one else having this problem and can it be corrected?

Re: MP3 Music
The same mp3 work fine on other programs. It would be very time consuming if I have to edit over half my mp3. Is there a problem with hoster 3.0 that can be corrected to resolve this problem.

Re: MP3 Music
hey admin
there isnt a problem with the program. unless you want hoster to stop short at the end of each song. if you've ever used a mp3 or wave editor you would know that there are dead spots at the begining of music and at the end of the music. the only way to get rid of them is to manually delete that part of the song. its not hard, but time consuming. ![]() |

Re: MP3 Music
What about for .kma songs that have a bunch of "dead air" after them? This is especially true for song 15 of Chartbuster CDs that are multisession. I use Microstudio to burn them to a new CD so I can import them, but they frequently have 2+ minutes of nothing at the end. I agree that it's probably problematic to have Hoster assume that x amount of dead time means go on to the next song, but it would be nice if there was some way of marking a new end-point for a song - the next time the song was played, Hoster would consider the song over when it encounters that "mark"? That would beat editing a bunch of songs and provide a way of resolving the problem for all formats supported by Hoster. Just a thought...

Re: MP3 Music
Songpony needs an audio editor like Goldwave so he can get rid of the dead space before burning the tracks to a cd.
